Who goes first in 3 Chapters?

With three to six players, whoever most recently saw a rabbit leads the first trick in Chapter II. With two players, agree who will lead that first trick.

Rule details

Chapter I begins with simultaneous card choices. This starting instruction applies to the trick-taking chapter that follows.

The rabbit criterion belongs to the three-to-six-player rules; the two-player section gives its own instruction.

If there’s a tie

The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
