Who goes first in Beez?

Whoever most recently ate a honey sandwich goes first.

Rule details

Place bees during setup starting with the person to the first player’s right and continuing counterclockwise. The first player places their bee last.

Regular turns then begin with the selected first player and proceed clockwise, through Flight plan, Flying and collecting nectar, and Storing nectar and making honey.

The two-player and expert rules keep this starting-player criterion.

If there’s a tie

The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
