Who goes first in Bot Factory?

The person who last bought a robot starts the first worker-placement phase. You may instead choose that player randomly.
Rule details
Initial worker placement proceeds clockwise. After that first placement phase, turn order follows the workers’ positions from left to right, including Sandra.
During setup, the initial last player receives an extra Speech token and players take their first Part tiles in reverse turn order.
The personal-history criterion selects among players in the multiplayer game; the solo Inspection variant has its own setup.
Official tie-break or fallback
Random selection is an official alternative; it is not restricted to a tie.
