Rule details

Play continues clockwise. On a turn, take an Art Card or complete a painting according to the normal rules.

In Painting with Vincent, the simulated player Vincent acts last. That variant is available for one or two human players.

The separate Solo Puzzle variant has only one player. This answer covers the ©2021 base-game manual, not the later second edition or expansion rules.

If there’s a tie

The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
