No one takes an individual first turn: players count to three together, then simultaneously point at a mushroom.
Rule details
Before play, choose someone to distribute the life stones. The rules suggest a banker, or otherwise the player with the nicest jewelry.
The distributor is a setup role, not a first-turn player.
If there’s a tie
The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
