Who goes first in Inventions: Evolution of Ideas?

With three or four players, whoever most recently invented something takes the first position in turn order. With two players, randomize the order of both players and Chronos.
Rule details
In the three- or four-player game, initial turn order proceeds clockwise from the selected player.
The preliminary Stone Age setup round runs in reverse turn order. It is separate from the regular turns that follow.
Turn order can change later under the Era Change procedure.
If there’s a tie
The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
