The last player to have spotted a real unicorn becomes the first player and takes the First Player token.
Rule details
The rule is a joke: the booklet gives no practical procedure when nobody has spotted a real unicorn.
For later hunts, the player who wins a unicorn becomes the new first player.
If there’s a tie
The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
