The player with the longest hair goes first.

Rule details

The player with the shortest hair keeps the clock; that is a separate role. Turns proceed clockwise.

If another day is needed, the player who would have taken the next turn becomes its starter.

If there’s a tie

The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
