Who goes first in Lotus?

In multiplayer, whoever has the greenest thumb goes first.
Rule details
Turns continue clockwise. Each player takes two actions, then draws back to four cards.
The four-player family variant uses teams, but players still take individual turns under the normal rules.
The Winter Lotus solo mode is a separate one-player challenge.
If there’s a tie
The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
