Who goes first in Meadow?

For multiplayer games, the person most recently stung by a bee starts.

Rule details

Give that player the first player token. Regular turns proceed clockwise.

The initial card draft uses a different order: it starts with the person to the starting player’s right and proceeds counterclockwise.

At the end of each round, pass the first player token to the left.

In solo play, Rover always takes the first turn.

If there’s a tie

The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
