Who goes first in Nature?

In standard multiplayer play, whoever can make the most amazing animal noise goes first.

Rule details

Give that player the snow leopard. After Preparation, its holder takes the first Adapting turn and later begins the clockwise Feeding turns.

After scoring a non-final round, pass the snow leopard to the left before the next round’s Preparation.

The Quick Play variant makes Adapting simultaneous; the five- and six-player rules use that variant. The snow leopard still identifies who starts Feeding.

If there’s a tie

The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
