Who goes first in PARKS?

Keymaster original-edition English rules, version 1.2

Whoever most recently went on a hike takes the first turn.

Rule details

Give that player the First Hiker Marker and give the camera to the player on their right.

Turns proceed clockwise, regardless of hikers’ positions on the trail.

The first player to use Reserve a Park at Trail End takes the First Hiker Marker. Its holder starts the next season.

In solo play, you begin with both the camera and the First Hiker Marker.

If there’s a tie

The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
