For a standalone multiplayer game of Episode 2, whoever most recently went on a nature adventure goes first.
Rule details
Regular turns proceed clockwise.
Preliminary Settlement or Camp placement and its associated benefits run counterclockwise, beginning with the last player.
Episode 1 uses a different criterion. This entry does not cover the separate Chronicle campaign or solo mode.
If there’s a tie
The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
