Choose the starter with a quantum random generator, or another method the group considers sufficiently random if one is unavailable.
Rule details
The selected person takes the first turn, followed clockwise. Solo play has a separate sequence for its single player.
Official tie-break or fallback
Without a quantum random generator, the rules explicitly allow any other method with a degree of randomness the group accepts.
