Who goes first in Stupefy!?

Whoever was the best notetaker at school becomes the first round's Favourite. That player announces and manages the phases.

Rule details

Players prepare, target and cast their spells simultaneously; the Favourite is the round leader, not the only person who acts first.

When sharing rewards, start with the Favourite and continue clockwise among players whose flags are still standing. If the Favourite cannot participate, the first eligible player to their left chooses first.

Taking the Become the Favourite card gives you that role for the next round.

If there’s a tie

The cited starting-player instruction does not specify a tie-break. We don’t infer one.
