Who goes first in Wingspan?

Choose the starting player at random and give that player the first-player token.

Rule details

This entry covers standard play with human opponents. Automa, Duet and Flock modes have their own setup instructions.

The random selection is the official setup instruction, not an added house rule.

Official tie-break or fallback

A single random selection determines the starting player; no qualifying personal trait is required.
